Meridian Air Cargo is the logistics subsidiary for Ohio Valley Aviation, operating primarily as a cargo only Part 135 airline. While OVA maintains a fleet of cargo aircraft for contract express work, Meridian Air Cargo is solely responsible for the ownership, operation, and maintenance of it's fleet. Most of the aircraft are lettered for major cargo carriers. This allows for great flexibility in route structure, aircraft availability and crew scheduling. Most of the work performed by MAC is on demand semi-charter work throughout the many regions the service operates in. These unscheduled routes are flown as flight lines or direct as needed. MAC is approved for VFR daytime operations.
