The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth was a popular trainer in the United Kingdom in the period. Needing it's own mail planes OVAT imported four of the type for use on the Valley Mail Run. These sturdy and robust aircraft do good work in most weathers ensuring the Ohio Valley has access to air express mail.
